This is an open, international design competition to explore new possibilities for the Black Rock City master plan starting in 2017. The competition is open to everyone and will begin in Fall 2015. In stage one, entrants will submit a single page drawing and statement of intent outlining their design concepts, which will be put up for public display and a vote in late 2015.
The top ten entries will advance to stage two, where entrants will be invited to develop detailed street level plans which, in turn, will be put up for a second vote. These detailed designs and voting data will then be submitted to the Burning Man management team for review in summer 2016.
